Overview
The Allen-Bradley 1756-PSCA2 Series A is a passive redundant power supply chassis adapter module designed for ControlLogix Series B controllers. This module funnels power from one or two redundant power supplies into the single power connector on the chassis backplane and is an essential component in building ControlLogix Redundant Power Supply Systems. The 1756-PSCA2 chassis adapter module is designed to funnel power from one or two ControlLogix redundant power supplies, and in the event of a failure by one power supply, the remaining supply will accommodate the entire load of the chassis without disruption to chassis activity.
