Overview
The Allen-Bradley 1756-ENBT is a ControlLogix EtherNet/IP bridge module designed to provide seamless Ethernet connectivity for distributed automation systems. This module is part of the Allen-Bradley ControlLogix family and is designed to provide seamless Ethernet connectivity for automation systems. The module can handle up to 64 TCP and 128 CIP connections, allowing efficient data exchange between controllers, I/O modules, and other devices on an EtherNet/IP network.
Key Features
- Supports 10/100 Mbps communication rates in half or full duplex mode through a single RJ45 port and includes a USB 1.1 port for configuration.
- Meets the common industry protocol (CIP) for safety in data transmission.
- Supports real-time I/O messaging, information exchange, and general messaging.
- Up to 5000 I/O packets/sec can be and 900 HMI/MSG packets/sec can be transacted with this device.
- Web-enabled, providing diagnostic tools and configuration access via a standard web browser, making it easier to manage networked devices.
- This module occupies a single slot in the chassis and may also be used in stand-alone applications.
