Overview
The Measurement Technology MTL 767 shunt diode safety barrier is a passive intrinsic safety module engineered for use in hazardous classified areas. Part of the MTL7700 series, this barrier protects circuits by limiting voltage and current to safe levels in the event of electrical faults in non-hazardous zones. The MTL 767 is designed for 6V and 12V DC systems and is certified for Groups IIC gas atmospheres under ATEX and IECEx standards.
