Overview
The 3M Petrifilm Plate Reader 6499 is a compact, desktop automation unit designed to streamline microbial testing workflows. This desktop unit automates the imaging, interpretation and data mapping of 3Mâ„¢ Petrifilmâ„¢ Plate counts, raising lab productivity, reducing costs and ensuring accurate, consistent readings. After individual 3M Petrifilm Plates are inoculated and incubated, they can be easily loaded into the reader where they are electronically read and interpreted in about 4 seconds.
