Overview
The Pall WS05DSB04 node box combines onboard display and capacitive water sensing in a single unit designed for in-line condition monitoring of petroleum and synthetic fluids in hydraulic, lubrication, and insulation oil applications. The WS05DSB04 is a node box with built-in display and probe with 1/4″ NPT connector. This compact system enables plant operators and maintenance technicians to monitor dissolved water content and temperature trends without requiring a separate external display or PC interface.
Key Features
- Circuitry on the sensor converts capacitance to voltage, amplifies it, and sends it to the WS05 node box for conversion to % saturation or ppm reading
- Up to 16 WS05 water sensors can be daisy-chained to provide a common data stream to a display or PC, with each node uniquely identified; power and data are carried along the serial cable between nodes
- The probe is directly immersed in the fluid to monitor dissolved water content and temperature
- RS232 serial and relay alarm output for local display or remote system integration
- Settable water and temperature alarms with relay contact for automated warning or shutdown logic
