Overview
The Cooper Bussmann NO 216-R is a Class R fuse reducer designed to enable flexible overcurrent protection in electrical systems. This rejection-type reducer allows technicians and integrators to install lower-amperage fuses in existing higher-rated holders without modifying the enclosure or rewiring. A standard component in industrial panels, switchgear, and control systems requiring downsizing of fuse protection.
Key Features
- Converts 100A fuse holders to accept 60A Class R fuses at 250V
- Compatible with RK1 and RK5 class fuse ratings
- Gold-colored copper construction ensures reliable electrical contact
- Rejection design prevents insertion of incorrect fuse types
- Strong mechanical and electrical contact with both fuse and holder
- Compact form factor fits standard industrial switchgear and panels
