Overview
The Sepco 170112001 is a 3/4″x30′ Tetracord joint sealant, a proven form-in-place gasket for sealing applications across industrial equipment. Made from 100% pure PTFE, it is used in virtually any gasketing application. The material has an adhesive backing for easy installation and is soft and flexible so it handles curves and contours, and is sold in continuous cord form so you only cut off what you need each time.

Typical Applications
Tetracord is used in gasketing applications including domes, transmission cases, towers, solar heaters, flanges, tanks, reactor vessels, digesters, manways, evaporators, columns, glass joints, ducts, drum lids, pump cases, heat exchangers, points, portholes, sight glasses, and compressor housings. It is recommended for heavy duty applications such as high pressure steam turbine housings and fragile glass joints. It is ideal for sealing complex surfaces and rough or pitted flanges.
