Overview
The Allen-Bradley 1746-P1 is an entry-level SLC 500 power supply module designed to deliver regulated backplane power to the 1746 chassis and connected I/O modules. Higher-capacity alternatives within the same family include the 1746-P2 (5A at 5V DC) and 1746-P4 (10A at 5V DC) for systems requiring greater backplane current. The 1746-P1 is not compatible with CompactLogix, ControlLogix, or MicroLogix families—those systems require their respective power supply modules. Fuse replacement uses 1746-F1 or equivalent time-delay fuses rated for your application.
