The RCA 40294 is an ultra-high-reliability silicon NPN epitaxial planar transistor, engineered for low-noise amplifier, mixer, and oscillator applications. It operates effectively at frequencies up to 500 MHz in common-emitter configuration and up to 1200 MHz in common-base configuration.
